Well I don't know how I've done it, but I think I've lost my blogspot and here I was so proud of myself. Well they always say pride comes before a fall. Hopefully I can find myself. LOL
to my blog. I am truly amazed at the progress the computer world has made in the five years since I left the workforce. But the darn things are still cantankerous and you still need logicalness to make the stupid things work sometimes. Don't they realise I'm a woman, I haven't got time to do things more than once. I've got quilts to make!
I have been married to the same wonderful man since I was 19, we have 3 daughters, Sharyn - 3 children, Anne-Maree, Matthew and Jasmine. Robyn - 2 children, Skyelah and Jai, Kathryn - 2 children, Dylan and Taneesha.
We were dairy farmers all our working lives though I also worked outside the farm as a bookkeeper.
My mother taught me to sew and I have always loved it.
I started into patchwork in 1986 with a single bed quilt for Sharyn all made out of 4" squares in different pink fabrics. That quilt now is the dust cover for my industrial sewer. Since then I have made many quilts and have found that I love doing needleturn applique best but have since found I enjoy doing hand embroidery and I love hexagons with a passion.
